The West is officially in decline, and attention will soon move to Southeast Asia and India (and obviously, China).

Why Southeast Asia? Because we are home to the current most important waterways in the world: The Strait of Malacca and the South China Sea. This can mean both threats as well as opportunities.

Right before the global Covid-19 pandemic in 2020, I warned a live audience of an unprecedented freeze in world activity in 2020.

I was correct.

  • 2024-2025:Ukraine - war will have no end (correct until now)
  • 2023: Malaysia - Rise of populist, fundamentalist leaders (correct until now)
  • 2023: China - Attacked by 'back door from enemy' in Mar-Jul 2025 (Trump's tariffs)
  • 2025: - Japan - Currency devaluation, shortages in 2026 (correct until now)
